A 60-year-old pedestrian who was fatally struck in a hit-and-run collision in Reseda was identified Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Javier Rueda Madrigal of Panorama City by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were called at 9:36 p.m. Friday to the 18600 block of Saticoy Street, west of Reseda Boulevard, where they found the victim, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Witnesses told officers a vehicle was driving east on Saticoy when it struck Rueda and failed to stop and render aid.
There was no vehicle or driver description available, police said.
