A 54-year-old man who died after becoming trapped under the axle of an SUV in a crosswalk in Canoga Park was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Warren Jaycox of Van Nuys.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 11:37 a.m. Saturday to 6800 N. Owensmouth Ave., one block east of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, where the man was pronounced dead at the scene after being extricated by firefighters, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No further information was immediately available.
