A fatal collision occurred between a big-rig truck and a motorcycle on Ortega Highway Friday.
The collision happened about 10:45 a.m. Friday just west of the Nichols Institute, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The motorcycle caught fire and traffic was being detoured around the westbound lanes.
