Firefighters were working to douse flames on the first floor of a two-story duplex in the South Park neighborhood of Los Angeles Tuesday.
The fire was reported at 1:05 p.m. at 5303 S. Main St., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Flames were extending into the attic, Stewart said. Firefighters were on the offensive, engaging the flames from inside the home.
No injuries were immediately reported.
