Adding to a string of vegetation fires prompted by extreme weather conditions, a brush fire of about 75 acres was burning at Sepulveda Basin Wednesday.
The fire was reported just before 4 a.m. Wednesday, at the park located between the Ventura (101) and San Diego (405) freeways, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
