Three motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, and three vehicles were stored or impounded during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Moreno Valley, authorities said Saturday.
The checkpoint was between 8 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. on Alessandro Boulevard and Alessandro Plaza, according to Sgt. Marcos Acosta of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Ten citations were issued for driving without a driver’s license and four people were arrested for miscellaneous misdemeanors at the checkpoint, Acosta said.
Three citations were issued on driving with a suspended license, and a citation was issued for driving with an expired license, he said.
The sheriff’s sergeant also reported that 460 vehicles were screened at the checkpoint.
