A 29-year-old man who was found dead in a Lancaster parking lot was identified Monday.
Homicide investigators responded to the 3600 block of East Avenue H-4 shortly after 4:45 p.m. Friday to reports of an unresponsive man, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man was examined and pronounced dead at the scene.
He was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Joel Ibarra, with the cause of death determined to be a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
It was unclear if authorities were seeking a suspect.
