Northbound traffic on the busy Orange (57) Freeway moved slow through Diamond Bar Friday morning after a big rig and sedan collided, sending one person to a trauma center.
The crash was reported at 6:29 a.m. Friday on the northbound Orange Freeway at Pathfinder Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The jack-knifed big rig caused the wreckage to block the HOV lane and lanes 1, 2 and 3, the CHP reported.
One patient was taken to the Pomona Valley Hospital trauma center for treatment of injuries, according to the CHP.
A SigAlert was issued at 7:28 a.m. for the HOV lane and lanes Nos. 1, 2 and 3 of the northbound Orange Freeway. It was canceled at about 8:30 a.m.
