A 57-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle collision in La Verne.
The crash occurred at 11:45 a.m. Saturday in the 6700 block of Wheeler Avenue, at Sherwood Drive, according to Sgt. D. Harden of the La Verne Police Department.
The La Verne resident was pronounced dead at the scene, Harden said. His name was withheld.
The driver of the other vehicle, also a La Verne resident, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, Harden said.
Wheeler Avenue was shut down between Sherwood and Kent drives for the collision investigation, Harden said.
It was reported reopened about 7:20 p.m.
