Officers recovered a handgun and a suspect was arrested during a pedestrian stop in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The stop occurred at about 8:40 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of East Seventh Street, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“During the investigation, officers recovered a firearm,” according to a police statement. “The suspect was determined to be a prohibited possessor and was subsequently arrested.”
