A robbery suspect was arrested by Long Beach Police Department officers and an investigation is underway Friday.
Officers were sent to the 1000 block of East Second Street at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday regarding an armed robbery. They located the suspect nearby and arrested him, the police department reported.
During their investigation of the arrest, officers recovered a loaded firearm.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
