A 96-year-old woman who went missing in Altadena two days before the Eaton Fire broke out has been located, authorities said Saturday.
Elizabeth Jane Behny had last been seen on Jan. 5 at about noon in the 2000 block of Pinecrest Drive, and authorities later worried that she might have been displaced due to the fire, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Her residence was in the fire zone.
The department did not say where or when Behny was located, but thanked “the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Elizabeth.”
