A 29-year-old woman was fatally injured after she lost control of her car and collided with a curb and cement pillar in Irvine Saturday, authorities said.
The collision took place around 12:40 a.m. Saturday on Alton Parkway, by Valley Oak Drive just north of San Diego (405) Freeway, according to the Irvine Police Department.
The car was described as a Grey BZ4X Toyota SUV.
The driver, who pronounced dead at the scene, was identified as Lucero Delarosa, a resident of Aliso Viejo.
The department’s Major Accident Investigation Team was investigating the cause of the collision, and anyone with information regarding the crash was asked to contact Detective David Juarez at 949-724-7047.
