Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire inside the wall around a chimney at a Brentwood home Friday, and no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported at 1:18 p.m. at a two-story home with subterranean parking in the 100 block of North Anita Ave, according to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Heavy smoke was showing from the chimney when crews arrived, but firefighters located the source and knocked down the flames within 25 minutes, Lantz said.
