Fire Saturday damaged a room at a single-story home in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 9:06 a.m. Saturday to 1624 W. 55th St. had the fire out within 12 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
