A man was stabbed during a robbery in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Officers were dispatched at about 9:30 p.m. Friday to a reported stabbing in the 2800 block of Gale Avenue, alongside the Long Beach (710) Freeway a couple blocks south of Spring Street, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics also arrived at the location and took the man to a hospital with wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
Police said he had been walking down a street when he was approached by a suspect who robbed him and stabbed him several times.
Police had no suspect description and the investigation was ongoing.
