One person was hospitalized Monday after an apartment fire in Lincoln Heights, authorities said.
The blaze was reported at 11:33 a.m. in the 2200 block of North Johnson Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fifty-four firefighters responded and contained the flames to a single unit, extinguishing the fire in under 15 minutes, officials said.
The condition of the injured person was not immediately disclosed.
