A fire in an attached garage was knocked down in Arlington Heights Sunday, authorities said.
Smoke was reported showing in the Craftsman-style, two-story home at 2024 S. Cimarron St., a little north of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
About three dozen firefighters knocked down the flames in 13 minutes, preventing the blaze from extending into the home.
No injuries were reported.
