Four members of a larger group were arrested in South Los Angeles Sunday on suspicion of being armed.
Just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday, officers received reports of a group with a gun in the area of East 21st Street and Naomi Avenue, in the Central-Alameda neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A perimeter was set up and four individuals, of whom one was described as a man, were taken into custody.
An investigation was ongoing, with some suspects still at large, police said.
It was unclear whether the arrested individuals possessed a weapon at the time of arrests.
