Police in Wednesday are investigating the stabbing of a woman on the west of downtown Long Beach.
Officers with the Long Beach Police Department responded to the intersection of Fourth Street and Magnolia Avenue at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday regarding a stabbing. Upon their arrival, officers found a woman suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds to her upper and lower body, according to the police department.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived and took the victim to a hospital for treatment. The motive and circumstances surrounding the stabbing are under investigation, police said.
