A man was fatally shot Friday in the Beverly Grove area, and a suspect was taken into custody.
The shooting occurred around 1:25 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Alfred Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said a 61-year-old man died at the scene. A 58-year-old man was taken into custody, with police saying a family dispute led to the shooting.
The names of the victim and suspect were not immediately released.
