A 3.1 magnitude earthquake rattled near Coachella Saturday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The earthquake was reported just before 3 a.m. Saturday, about 8 miles northeast of Coachella.
According to the USGS, the earthquake had a depth of 8.6 kilometers and was felt in areas like Indio and Cathedral City.
No damages or injuries were reported.
