One person was killed and three others were hospitalized from a three-car, fiery collision Saturday in Boyle Heights.

The collision occurred at 12:13 a.m. Saturday and fire crews responded to 513 N. Brittania St., east of Cesar Chavez Boulevard and the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, where they found the collision, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

One of the cars involved in the collision was on fire.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and three others were taken to a hospital in serious condition.

The cause of the collision was not known.
