Authorities Tuesday released the name of a 27-year-old man who was found dead in West Covina and foul play was not suspected.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the man as Robert Valle of West Covina.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner listed the location of the decedent’s death as a golf course.

Officers and firefighters responded at 7:20 a.m. Monday to the area of Barranca and Cameron avenues to a report of an unconscious man at the location.

Officers found the man was not breathing, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, said West Covina police Sgt. Enrique Macias.

“At this time, there is no evidence of foul play, nor are there any persons of interest,” Macias said.

The medical examiner will determine his cause of death, the sergeant said.
