A man and woman were charged Tuesday with abusing a year-old infant in Westminster.
Juliet Nguyen, 20, and Lukas Page, 24, were charged with four felony counts of child abuse and endangerment, with sentencing enhancements for causing great bodily injury on a child younger than 5, according to court records. The two are accused of abusing the boy over the weekend, when they were arrested after a call from doctors at a facility where the victim was taken for treatment, police said.
The two did not enter a plea at their arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana on Tuesday. They were scheduled to be arraigned April 21 in the West Justice Center in Westminster.
