A fire at a one-story home in the El Sereno neighborhood was knocked down Wednesday, authorities said.
Flames were reported in the 2200 block of North Eastern Avenue, several blocks west of Cal State Los Angeles, at around 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Three dozen firefighters extinguished the flames in 19 minutes, the department added.
No injuries were reported.
