An Ebony Alert was deactivated to Wednesday after a 16-year-old missing in Pacoima was located.
Tyler Sargent was last seen on Gain Street and Borden Avenue at 2:45 p.m Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
In an update on Wednesday morning authorities stated he had been located, but further details were unavailable.
Ebony Alerts are issued to help find Black children, teenagers and young adults — 12 to 25 years old — who are reported missing under unexplained or suspicious circumstances or those who are at-risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or who have been abducted.
