A 33-year-old man accused of sex trafficking and raping a woman in the Angeles National Forest pleaded guilty in federal court Friday to sex trafficking.
Leslie Anthony Bailey is scheduled to be sentenced July 18 in a federal courtroom in Santa Ana. Bailey’s city of residence was not disclosed.
The victim was abducted on Feb. 5, 2022, and held for several days and forced to engage in prostitution, federal prosecutors said when he was indicted in March of last year.
The woman was kept captive through Feb. 8, 2022, when the defendant drove her into the Angeles National Forest and raped her, according to the indictment.
Bailey was also pimping another woman between March 7 and April 25 in 2023, prosecutors said.
