A 41-year-old motorcyclist who died when he crashed into a vehicle in Sherman Oaks was identified Monday.
The crash occurred at about 8:55 p.m. Sunday at Ventura Boulevard and Greenbush Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Ventura Boulevard in the far-left lane when it struck a vehicle that was making a left turn westbound from Greenfield Avenue, police said.
The rider, a 41-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Timothy Marques.
