A fire at a row of commercial businesses in Van Nuys was quickly extinguished Wednesday by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters.
Fire crews responded to the fire at 14207 W. Bessemer St. between Van Nuys Boulevard and Hazeltine Avenue at 4:11a.m. and found flames coming from one unit in the one-story commercial area, LAPD spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
It took 60 firefighters 21 minutes to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation, Humphrey said.
