A 20-year-old woman who police found stabbed to death in the Florence area of Los Angeles was identified Thursday.
The victim of the stabbing was identified as Ty’iana Pierce, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The stabbing was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday inside 338 E. 82nd St., near San Pedro Street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Pierce was found with stab wounds in her abdomen, he said. Paramedics took Pierce to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, the officer said.
