A man was critically injured in a shooting Saturday in Long Beach.
Officers dispatched about 3 am. to a reported shooting in the 1700 block of Magnolia Avenue located a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital in critical condition.
“Officers recovered a firearm at the scene,” according to a police statement. “The motive, circumstances, and suspect information are under investigation.”
