A 15-year-old girl who had been missing in South Los Angeles has been found safe, police reported Thursday.
Jaiyana Evans had last been seen the morning of May 1 as she left her Watts neighborhood home to go to school, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
She was found safe and reunited with her family Wednesday night, police said.
No details were provided on where she was located or where she was while missing.
