A fire broke out Monday at a converted garage in the Florence section of South Los Angeles, but firefighters quickly knocked down the flames.
The fire was reported at 9:18 a.m. at 126 W. 69th Street, according to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from the structure and quickly coordinated roof and interior operations, extinguishing the fire in 16 minutes, Lantz said.
No injuries were reported.
