A man was fatally shot in La Mirada Wednesday, and authorities were investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Deputies responded at 6:22 a.m. to the 14700 block of Firestone Boulevard to a report of a shooting, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
“The male adult victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead,” the department said in a statement.
No details were released about the victim, what led to the shooting or any suspect or suspects.
