Police Friday are investigating a stabbing that injured a man in central Long Beach.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called to the 2000 block of Lime Avenue between Atlantic and Martin Luther King Jr. avenues at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding a stabbing. When they arrived, the officers found the victim suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds to the upper body, police said.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel were called and took the victim to a hospital.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation and there are no suspects, police said.
