Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the Florence-Graham neighborhood, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Friday.
Deputies from the department’s Century Station were called at 11:40 p.m. Thursday to the 9000 block of Compton Avenue and East 90th Street, west of Col. Leon H. Washington Park, where they found the victim, said homicide Lt. Steven De Jong.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
