An investigation was underway Thursday into a shooting in Thermal.
Deputies reported to call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 75000 block of Pierce Street, according to Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez.
Authorities located a man who suffered a gunshot wound, and was later taken to a hospital. He was listed in stable condition.
No arrests were made, and no further information was immediately available.
