A 20-year-old man killed in a shooting in San Pedro that also left a second man wounded was identified by authorities Monday.
David Archuleta, 20, suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
The shooting was reported at 1:40 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Pacific Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A man in his 40s was in serious condition when taken to a hospital, according to the LAFD.
It was unclear what motivated the shooting and no suspect description was made available.
