An 84-year-old man who died after riding a scooter that was involved in a crash with two other vehicles in Montebello was publicly identified Sunday.
The crash occurred July 5, about 11:25 a.m., in the 300 block of North Garfield Avenue, just north of Whittier Boulevard, according to the Montebello Police Department. It was unclear if the scooter was electric or foot-powered.
One of the vehicles in the crash rolled over, police said.
Ca Hoang Le, whose city of residence was not provided, died in a hospital from his injuries the same day, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
