Firefighters doused a blaze Monday morning in an apartment in North Hollywood.
The fire was reported at 7:02 a.m. in the 10800 block of Victory Boulevard, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 13 minutes to put out the fire in a second-floor unit of the two-story, garden-style building, she said.
One person was checked at the scene, but declined treatment or hospital transport, according to Stewart.
