A woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles was identified Wednesday.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday to the northbound side of the freeway near the Exposition Boulevard exit, where they learned a pedestrian attempted to run across the freeway and was struck by at least one vehicle, CHP Officer Ramon Kendricks told City News Service.

The pedestrian, identified by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Storm Davison, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision left debris scattered over several lanes of the freeway, the CHP reported.

Officers questioned three drivers whose vehicles might have been involved in the collision.
