A fire heavily damaged a mobile home Monday in the unincorporated community of Desert Edge, but no injuries were reported.
The blaze was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 18000 block of Langlois Road, south of Desert Hot Springs, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said crews contained the fire, which extended to three vehicles, at about 11:15 a.m., and remained at the scene for an additional two hours for mop-up work.
Additional resources including Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Co. and other agencies were asked to assist at the scene.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
