Authorities sought the public’s assistance Thursday in locating a driver who opened fire on another vehicle on a Glendora freeway.

Officers responded around 10:25 p.m. Wednesday to the northbound Orange (57) Freeway, just south of the Foothill (210) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Detectives determined that the male driver of a silver sedan opened fire from the car, striking the passenger-side door of another vehicle.

There was no description of the suspect, and the motive for the shooting remained under investigation.
