A woman drowned Thursday in a pool in Palm Desert.
Deputies responded to a call regarding an unresponsive woman shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday in the 74000 block of Chicory Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
