A 44-year-old man was sentenced Friday to 150 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting two girls in Anaheim.
Jose Antonio Dominguezsanchez was convicted July 16 of nine felony counts of sexual assaults on the girls from 2012 though 2019, according to court records.
Dominguezsanchez molested one of the girls, with whom he is related, starting when she was 10 or 11 years old, prosecutors said in a sentencing brief. She was living in Oregon at the time but would visit with the defendant during summer and holiday breaks in 2014.
She said he molested her multiple times, starting when she was 11 years old on Christmas Day, police said in the defendant’s preliminary hearing.
In April 2019, the mother of another victim told police she started dating the defendant in September 2015, police testified.
Dominguezsanchez moved in with the victim and her mother in December 2016, police said. He moved out in March 2017 but moved back in three months later, police said. He moved out again in July 2018.
The victim said Dominguezsanchez started molesting her when she was about 9 years old and recalled about 10 separate incidents, police said. One attack was in a hotel while they were traveling..
The defendant “victimized multiple young girls time and time again,” prosecutors said in a brief arguing for a maximum sentence of 195 years to life in prison.
The defendant had 2,648 days credit behind bars.
