A man was shot and killed in the Coolidge Park neighborhood of Long Beach and police Friday are searching for suspects.
Officers with the Long Beach Police Department were called to the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Bort Street around 11:20 p.m. Thursday regarding reports of gunshots and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, LBPD Lt. Gerrit DeJongh told City News Service.
Long Beach Fire Department arrived and took the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives are on scene and the investigation is ongoing, DeJongh said. There was no suspect information.
