Authorities sought the public’s assistance Friday in locating an at-risk 64-year-old man diagnosed with congestive heart failure and diabetes, and who has a pacemaker, last seen in Lancaster.

Donald Banks was last seen on Sunday in the 1600 block of West Avenue J at approximately 5 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Banks was described as a 5-foot-7-inch-tall Black man weighing 137 pounds with balding gray hair and hazel eyes. He also has a beard and was last seen wearing a green plaid long-sleeve shirt, black pants and shoes.

Sheriff’s officials said Banks’ family is growing increasingly concerned about his well-being due to his medical conditions, which require daily medication.

Anyone with information regarding Banks’ whereabouts was urged to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
