A 76-year-old man was reported missing after last being seen Tuesday evening in Placentia, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Humberto Sanchez was last seen at approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of La Jolla Street and Arnold Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Placentia Police Department.
Sanchez is Latino, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown hat and a dark blue suit.
Anyone who has seen Sanchez or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
