A 40-year-old pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Carson was identified by county authorities Thursday.
The fatality was reported at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at South Santa Fe Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Kristle White. White was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:43 a.m., a CHP officer said.
